First time back post covid!
"
After initially stating a limit of one ship per day, they have now built a new berth for a second cruise ship, although we were the only ship in town that day.Hubbard Glacier-the cruise up this fjord has absolutely stunnning views, and we were lucky to have good weather the first week, so we got reasonably close for good viewing.

Older, but nice ship. Very dirty windows, never cleaned. Terrible for Alaska trip! MDR good, Windjammer not good. Park cafe excellent and very nice for early morning coffee. Gluten free options extremely limited, hard to find. Never labeled. Staff were helpful, but still terrible for an 8 year old! Ultra spacious ocean view cabin nice, guiet, but no outlets by bed. Only 1 US

They should be renamed the Royal Covid, friends were on this ship 2 weeks ago and got Covid, our group recently got Covid. The ship smelled like raw sewage and the food was sub par. Chops Grill was not worth the expensive upgrade. Drinks were charged at a different rate every time they were served. The buffet was good for breakfast and lunch. Main dining shrimp co*cktail was small and limp, strip

This was our first cruise post Covid and the fourt Alaska cruise that we have done on the Radiance. I read a lot of these reviews so I wanted to try and help someone else. As I mentioned we know this cruise and this vessel very well. First, the service was excellent as always with our stateroom and the MDR. The assistant waiter and the Head Waiter did not add a lot, but they can be hit or

We went on the Radiance of the Sea to Alaska on May 3rd thru May 10th.. .What a Royal Pain!My experience on this cruise was far less enjoyable than what I have experienced on previous Royal Cruises. Before I get into the negatives, I do want to say that there were no issues with the ship itself or the crew, both fabulous. On this particular ship, the places to eat and food choices were

The only good thing about this cruise was the main dining room, the food and staff were great. The food in the buffet was terrible, like a grade school cafeteria, hamburgers and hot dogs, pizza, and a few other fried items, low selection and low quality. Our cabin bathroom had a shower curtain that didn't keep the water in, which was probably why the bathroom floor was squishy and had

Expectations fell a bit short for me. A lot of things that from past cruises that were usually pretty good seemed just barely acceptable this time. From the food in the Windjammer and Main Dining Room to the headliner shows in the Aurora Theater things just seemed to be a little bit off--not as good as they should be. We don’t normally opt for any of the specialty restaurants but our wedding

I enjoy sailing from all 4 of the major ports in Florida and Tampa is no exception. However I would not recommend parking at 717L57 Channel side Dr Lot Port of Tampa Cruise Parking. There is no one there, you park yourself, it's close to the Cruise terminals, you can walk to them and the price is very low however when we returned to our car we had parking tickets on the windshield and a warning

Let me start by saying that I am a pretty laid back guy. Out of the dozens of cruises we’ve been on, I’ve been to guest services over an issue maybe twice. We were traveling with a group of 8. My in laws and their dad were in one room. Several weeks before the cruise we called to verify it was one twin bed and one king bed in the room for them, as he is 80 and cannot get on a bunk bed. They

Our goal was to get our whole family together and give our grandchildren (age 5-11) their first cruise. The ship, the friendly staff, the outstanding waiters all worked well. The kids were happy swimming; we did not use the kids programs at all. They enjoyed the two shows we saw and everyone had a good time. Cabins were very clean as was the ship in general. The significant downside to the cruise

Other than the food and the Service in the Main Dining Room, I give this ship a solid 2. At best. And I'm being generous ,since the Staff is friendly. The entertainment is essentially non existent. The shows were poor, the movie theatre didn't work and the few movies they showed by the pool were older than I am. The only thing these people seemed to be concerned with was selling you stuff. That
