What Happened to the Food?

We have cruised with Royal Caribbean exclusively for the last 17 years. We are currently on our 9th or 10th cruise (lost count). We are on symphony of the seas, sailed from NJ to the Bahamas. This was an excellent cruise from the smooth embarkation where we took the 1-1:30 pm time slot and walked right onto the ship to debarkation where we took the 8-8:30 am time slot and also did not wait in line. Enjoyed this ship, even with thorough preparation via you tube, I was still in awe of Symphony boarding. PROS1. The embarkation process was a breeze at Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, took less than 45 minutes to wait through security line, check in and then board. Not worth the outrageous cost for a sky suite! Won’t go on RC again. Water is not included in your room except for the crappy tap water that makes passengers sick. I had to complain until my room steward got permission to stick my room with bottled water! Then asked for a shower cap! Nope! Those were discontinued! Again my steward scraped me up a couple she found but said they were the last!

Have been loyal to royal since 1995, this was the worst ship and cruise i have ever sailed on! Total chaos first 2 days. Crew members appeared over whelmed , rude and not concerned about passengers in all faculties! crew members stood aroung totally ignoring passengers, busy talking to one another, as if they couldn"t care less. Great ship. Never felt crowded. Staff was outstanding. Food was good. Don't waste money on The Key program, or specialty restaurants, or balcony staterooms if trying to save a few bucks. Don't use the arcade. App was good but nothing beats the paper cruise compass when planning a day ahead so you can see all that is offered.
